Compass Empowerment Society is dedicated to empowering women and children through education, fundraising, and volunteer work. We become empowered through working together to help others and our community. We welcome all people, all ages, and from all walks of life to share this space with us. There are no membership fees and no strict time commitments to join us. Simply get involved when and where you can. See below for a list of ways you can help - and welcome to our tribe.
Join an Event.
Our volunteer and fundraising events are meant to bring people together to help and empower women, children and the community. We post upcoming events details on social media and on our Eventbrite page. We look forward to your participation.
Collaborate on an Event.
We encourage collaboration with other nonprofits and local businesses. Perhaps you own a green company and want to sponsor a community garden effort, or maybe you specialize in childhood education and want to initiate a book drive. We welcome your ideas and look forward to hearing how we can create a combined event.
Shop for a Cause.
If you are local to Huntington Beach and like to shop for pre-owned, high quality items, visit Stacy’s Closet - a woman owned consignment store. Donate your gently used clothing or accessories for consignment, and let the girls at the counter know to put it under the Compass Empowerment Society account. A portion of the proceeds will come directly to us to help fund administrative costs and future community events.
